Hazardous chemicals, procedures and equipment
If the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, the author must clearly identify these in the manuscript.

TransMed upholds the highest academic, scientific and ethical standards. Authors are expected to meet the following requirements at submission.
If the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, the author must clearly identify these in the manuscript.
If the work involves the use of human participants, living or deceased, including their data and/or biological materials (e.g. organs, tissues), authors must follow Elsevier’s policy on Human Research.
If the work involves animal studies, authors must follow Elsevier’s policy on Animal Research.
Elsevier supports clinical trial transparency. For relevant journals, authors are expected to conform to industry best standards in clinical trial registration and presentation — for example the CONSORT guidelines — as further set out in the policies of the relevant journal.
Ultimately, authors are responsible and accountable for the contents of their work, including the accuracy of the data reported, the originality of the material submitted, and the appropriate attribution of any third-party content.
